Posted this a day early because I will be busy this weekend. The dog business will be over on Saturday , but it's warming up so I have work to do outside. I have to prepare my chicks to move outside soon... do something with that prick rooster... maaaaaaaan.

What's this? A glimpse into the past of Komahtu? But only this little bit. As you can see here, I do have lighter colors for cubs, so eventually Mohatu will darken up. Well, not their tails and mane tufts, they stay the same (with the exception of Simba... just because). The other cub is Hastin, which can be seen here in a doodle I posted a while back. [link] The two look like white lions there because they both descend from the royal pride, but are mutts, rejected for who their parents or grandparents were. More about the royal pride will come up later.
Komahtu's time is almost up. I really liked him. It's fun coming up with his back story though. I might do something on that one day.
