TLK II AU- Shani and Chaka

It's Shani and Chaka!!!! (Again? Anyahs? What is this? You already have a Chaka as Simba's brother AND as a Son... And Shani as a daughter... )

These two are separate from those particular timelines. This is based off some of the cut material of TLK II where Shani falls in Love with Scar's only cub, Kovu (I'm not using the nuka/nunka nonsense).

I may do these in a different style- such as a picture or two and a written chapter. I need to practice writing again for NaNoWriMo. They will not be in color... Q_Q at least not anytime soon.

Shani is the first born of Simba and Nala and is the future queen, betrothed to a young male who's mother, one of the king's lesser mates from her own pride, moves to the pridelands.. She takes much away from Simba in appearance with her nearly identical golden pelt, dark ear rims, darker upper eyerims while the bottom rims are lighter, underbelly marking only reaches her chest, and the same underbelly colored toes. Her tail tuft is a soft orange red color. Shani's nose takes more after her grandmother in shape, with a line down the middle and thin edges, although the color is a deep chestnut brown. Nala shines through this young female's appearance in her body length, chin. and eyes. Her daughter inherited both the sleek almond shape and the grey teal color. She adorns a scruffy tuft of hair atop her head, causing other cubs to make fun of her boyish appearence. (Note: Shani takes all of her appearance from Fluffy at the end of Movie 1- the hair tuft comes from concept art from movie 2... and I wanted to change her up from Kiara so I gave her Nala's eyes.)

Chaka is the second born and is promised to the lovely Timira, a young cub who's mother showed up to the Pridelands, nearly dead, with a small cub in her grasp. Chaka has the body shape of Simba with the same strong chin and angled nose. He takes away the underbelly colored toes and the dark ear rims, however, the rest is all from his mother. His eye shape is wider than his mothers, but retains the general almond shape. His sharp red eyes comes from his deceased grandfather, King Mufasa. Chaka's pelt is a warmer shade of his mother's pelt, hints of his father's pelt coming through. His mane is a warm brown with hints of red barely showing through. Chaka's design here is one I originally had planned for Naba, a possible name for Fluffy/possibly a fandom name. At the time, Naba was to be born after Kiara and Kovu bring the prides together. He was to be born with Aisha, however I changed the story up in my own version, changing Naba's design to the Fluffy design.

Other characters with altered appearances who will appear:

Simba: Simba will look like his movie 1 self and will retain his ear rims. I cannot stand that males lose them as they get bigger. It's like he lost a trait he probably picked up from his mother. (The fact that Vitani gains them later is also weird to me.)

Nala: She too... will retain her movie 1 appearance. Her colors were too gross compared to her movie one look.

Zira: Zira will have blue or pale green eyes. She tends to have blue eyes in many books, and there is a concept art work where she has green. Originally, I had planned to give her the color scheme of her sunset colors, but gave those to her son instead. Her colors from movie 2 will be used as her malnourished colors in the Outlands. Just know that her colors will be slightly warmer than what is shown.

Kovu: He will have the biggest appearance change of them all. His colors are Zira's sunset colors, which is a perfect mix of Scar's movie 1 colors and Zira's movie 2 colors (even with her altered colors that I plan to use one day). His mane is nearly black like his father's and he has the same black, sharp nose and green eyes surrounded by solid dark eyerims. He will now have the same inner ear strip like his mother, and along his back, not head, is a dark stripe. His underbelly markings will also go all the way up to his chin (both the neck markings and most of the back stripe are only seen when he is a cub).

Vitani: Now known as Shetani, she is a lone cub Zira saved from her Hyena lackies and raised as her own. She is always told by her adopted mother that she will one day be the mate of Kovu and the future queen of the pridelands once Kovu kills Simba. Shetani looks nothing like Vitani, having a dull, warm tan pelt, pale eye rims, a grey/pink nose, bright orange/yellow eyes, uncolored toes... she does retain her ear rims. Overall, she looks like a thin Pridelander. Of course, this could all change since she is now considered a completely new character.

Timira: Although Timira has no official design, she will not look like my previous Timira. In fact, she looks a bit like movie 2 Kiara with lighter colors and pink/orange eyes... I might change her design as well.

Note: Outland lions will be duller than their healthy appearance. If a lioness (Shetani, for example) looks grey, she is probably more of a dull tan. The only color that isn't affected by their malnutrition would be their eye color.

I still have a few pages of that comic short with Mohatu that I forgot to upload (found an eraser!!) so those will be coming soon. I'm working on cleaning them as we speak. Once I get those remaining pages up, I'll start on writing this idea out.
